Last Night

Last night we had some friends over for good conversation, music and food and.... Those three dots are why no pix are up on that very pleasant mellow encounter. We talked of many things from Islam to Dr. John's album, "N'Awlinz: Dis Dat or d'Udda, which I've mentioned before. It's an kaleidoscope of N'Awlinz music. Only the Dr. could make an album like this. "Lay My Burden Down" is one of my favorite tracks. If I had that desktop server, I could insert an audio file right here and you'd be able to hear what I'm talking about.

We had some grilled boneless chicken cubes marinated in 5 spice powder, sesame oil and soy sauce on top of couscous with scallions, orange juice, dried apricots and chicken stock.
